St Rémy de Provence is an amazing Provencial city nestled in-between Arles and Avignon. Filled with tons of history (Sebs favorite!), art, and amazing food there is tons of activities to do. We suggest spending 3 or more days in the region to explore before moving onto another part of France!
Go to the local market on Wednesday morning. St Rémy town puts together a local market from 7am to 1pm in the city centre. There is loads of boutiques, shops, and beautiful local businesses to explore.
As Seb says, le vin c'est de l'eau! Take a wine tour in region. Being in the heart of Provence there are several wineries in and around St Rémy de Provence that offer tours and tastings. Please double check our recommendations page for some of our favs!
In case you missed those HK trails, you can hike in the Alpilles mountains, Andrea's favorite! St Rémy de Provence is surrounded by beautiful mountains, and there are several hiking trails that offer stunning views of the countryside.
Visit local cities nearby. St Rémy is very central to other neighbouring cities such as Avignon, Arles, Le Baux de Provence. All of these cities have so much amazing culture and beauty, it would be a shame to miss!
